Chic Forte dei Marmi Beach Wedding

25 January 2015

What can I say about this Forte Dei Marmi Beach Wedding?  First of all, a huge Thanks to these charming lovebirds and the excellent team of vendors. It’s been one of my favourite event of the year, and my high expectations had not been disappointed. This lovely Italians decided to get married on a warm Saturday of mid-September in Forte Dei Marmi, where they’ve been living and working for years. Like many other Italian couples, they wanted a church wedding and beach reception, to enjoy the romance of a sunset over the sea. The church was Pieve di Valdicastello in Forte Dei Marmi, on the old Via Francigena. It stole my heart: tiny, entirely built of tuff and marble; it is one of the most luminous churches I’ve ever seen. As for the reception later, they opted for a minimal and classy beach resort, just 10 minutes away from the church.

Many stations with colourful cocktails and seafood along the walkway leading to the shore; a large marquee under which families and friends sat al fresco and enjoyed all these Godsend goods; round tables embellished with flowers and silver candlesticks by the beautiful pool. But above all, bold people that love to have fun! Lovely families and so many beautiful friends, who were eager to celebrate the newlyweds. For their Forte dei Marmi Beach Wedding photos, I took advantage of the warm and gentle light of the sunset: love-filled images, no filters, captured during a stroll on the beach. The bride, happier than ever, wanted to immerse her feet in the water, which she said bodes well for the future together.

Later the newlyweds cut the cake and toasted with fireworks in the background. The amazing Ilbiancoeilrosa had planned a super stylish and elegant event, keeping things easy for vendors and guests. Heartfelt thanks go to Silvia Gerzeli,  for the excellent bridal makeup, Le Petit Jardin, flowers designer, and La Duree of Lucca for the cute wedding favours. But above all, I want to thank these gorgeous newlyweds. If there weren’t couples like you, how would I create these beautiful photographs? Enjoy their Forte Dei Marmi Beach wedding photos below!
