When Eva and Silvio decided to get married in Forte dei Marmi, they should have thought of all the great summer holidays spent here with their families during childhood. This is a familiar story to many people living in Milan (only 2 hours away!), who always remain connected to this part of Italy. How many people have fallen in love on the golden beaches of Forte dei Marmi and Pietrasanta? Impossible to say. But not surprisingly every year many more lovers decide to crown their love here on the Versilia coast.
A wedding Forte Dei Marmi is perfect for those who wish a romantic celebration on the beach. Eva and Silvio chose Bagno Annetta for their union. This old beach club is located not far from the centre and boutiques of the resort. Frequented by celebrities since the 60s, its style is delightful, unique and distinct; the walls of the cabins are panelled with white wood and turquoise finishes; neat hedges outline the paths that lead from the entrance and from the pool to the sea. Big and ordered gazebos furnish the golden beach. An absolute delight! It’s one the best but little known venues of Italy.
Upon their arrival, guests spent a few minutes sipping cocktails and enjoying delicious snacks by the pool. Here a real appetiser was waiting for them. While waiting for the bride and groom, friends and families had the opportunity to chat and relax, before heading off to the beach for the wedding ceremony. The staff of Bagno Annetta set up a gazebo with white flowers. All around, as if to surround it symbolically, many white benches; candles and nautical decorations marked the path along the walkway. The ceremony began at sunset. The celebration was touching and romantic. Just in time to take some photos on the beach and some family portraits before sunset, and it was already time to sit down for dinner. Tables and chairs were placed directly on the sand. The centrepieces were large pots overflowing with flowers. The wedding table was set with glass vases, flowers, and decorations. The lighting by candlelights made the atmosphere intimate and charming, ideal for this classy wedding. Nothing was missing! They even had fireworks during the cake and the wedding toast. In the end, bride, groom and their families have lit some flying lanterns.
Eva chose a dress by Delphine Manivet, Parisian designer unmistakable for her style romantically retro, chic and natural. Eva’s dress, empire style, floated down softly from the neckline down to the ground. Her back was enhanced by the elegant lace, also used for the sleeves. And then the magical charm of the bride: even without accessories, Eva was just lovely. Silvio chose the perfect style for the beach too. A classic double-breasted navy blue suit and matching accessories. Simple and stylish, a real gentleman next to his beautiful princess.
One of the reasons why I’d have never missed this wedding Forte Dei Marmi is the elegance and sophistication of couple and guests. Eva and Silvio were undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and easy going couples in 2015. I wish them and their families much happiness and a future full of satisfaction.
