For those who dream of a religious marriage, Florence offers many beautiful churches. The old town is full of ancient and beautiful churches. A real jewel instead is set in the hills around the Tuscan city: La Certosa del Galluzzo, an ancient Carthusian monastery, located in the Florence countryside.
The couple got dressed and ready in the beautiful Villa Cora, a stone’s throw from the historic centre and the artistic beauties of the city. The bride looked even more beautiful after a gorgeous make-up made by Anna Matanovic. The lipstick was perfectly in tune with the colour of the bouquets, the wedding table decorations and the favours for the guests.
The ceremony was held inside the Certosa. The bride arrived on a beautiful Bentley and climbed the stairs leading to the altar with her father, both clearly excited. Given the beauty of the ceremony and the reception, I took the first part of the wedding photo shoot at the Certosa, and some other pictures in the gardens and inside Villa Cora. The spouses, still nervous, let themselves be guided by my directions while enjoying a few moments of intimacy after a lovely celebration.
The first part of the wedding reception so was held on the magnificent terrace of the villa, overlooking Florence, the hills, and the garden. Courses made with raw seafood and champagne have delighted the guests before dinner. The bridal table was set up inside the hall of mirrors, surrounded by centuries-old frescoes and baroque statues. There could not be a better setting for the dinner! Here are some pictures of this beautiful wedding.
