If you are considering Florence for your destination wedding in Italy, please know that you are not the only one. Many lovebirds choose Florence for their marriage, thanks to the many features that the capital of Tuscany offers. Starting from the venues: among dozens of charming villas with gardens and views, the real king of the town is the Castello di Vincigliata. The castle is located in Fiesole, about ten minutes drive from the historic centre of Florence, in a picturesque place with a view. The castle provides numerous areas for each stage of the ceremony and reception.
The couple of the day, from the United States, decided to celebrate their marriage here. Bride and groom-to-be got ready together with friends and families in the surroundings. They chose to do the first look in a spot with a view, upon one of the most beautiful terraces of Florence. It was exciting to watch these newlyweds seeing each other for the first time with their eyes full of emotions.
The ceremony took place on the terrace of the castle, followed by the cocktail hour in the garden and the dinner indoor. Between a stage and another, I kidnapped the bride and groom for some intimate portrait at sunset. It was wonderful! Still beaming, they let me portray them during a walk in the most beautiful spots of the castle, before returning to the warmth of their guests. After the traditional speeches, the couple cut the cake in front of their families and friends and danced until late night. I hope to see them always like today!
