Among the many beautiful cities that I’ve visited during the year, Madrid has a special place in my heart. At the Barajas airport, I stumbled upon a super-modern, almost difficult city. Later on, as soon as I arrived at Puerta del Sol, in the centre, I had to change my mind. Madrid is above all its lovely people: warm, friendly and helpful. It’s very nice to get lost in the streets of the Casco Viejo and in the markets of San Miguel and San Anton; or discover yourself wandering in the Parque del Buen Retiro and come across the fabulous Palacio de Cristal.
Madrid is very young and turns on in the evening; it’s easy to see so many people partying and having fun in the Gran Via and surroundings! The Palacio Real, in the heart of Madrid, is as good as the most famous European royal palaces. Next to it, in the beautiful Jardines de Sabatini, I captured these fabulous portraits.
The gardens are not very large but provide many spots to take interesting pictures. On one of its side, the Royal Palace stands majestically; the perfect background for any photo shoot. It was very nice to take photographs of this beautiful girl strolling around with her fabulous Tom-Hom dress. Planning this photo shoot was like returning to the dawn of my photography – read here my story BTW: an enchanting girl, a beautiful gown, warm light and my camera. Nothing else. And the beauty of Sara undoubtedly helped me.
In short, if you pass from Madrid, don’t miss the chance to visit the historic centre and be portrayed in its gardens. Whether for a honeymoon or a pre-wedding session, a photo shoot in Madrid will be one of the best things you will bring home.
