Borgo di Petrognano is one of the most beautiful venues of Tuscany. It’s located in Barberino Val d’Elsa, perched among the hills between Florence and Siena. Time seems to have stopped here. The whole village is built with old materials, perfectly combined with the environment, full of colours and charm. Enchanted by so much beauty, these two American lovebirds have decided to celebrate their wedding in Tuscany.
Borgo di Petrognano offers many features for every wedding. Couples can rent the venue on a weekly basis. Forty guests can stay here thanks to numerous rooms and beds. Also, the spouses might spend the whole time with their family and friends, relaxing by the pool or organising excursions in the surroundings. Between a barbecue and a wine tasting, bride and groom-to-be reached the day of the wedding. The bride got ready with her bridesmaids before walking to the groom waiting at the altar. The Jewish ceremony took place under a fabulous tunnel of climbing plants with the view of Tuscany, the perfect setting for an unforgettable celebration.
The first part of the reception took place by the pool. Just a glass of wine and some family pictures, and it was already time to sit for dinner in the shade of the great Petrognano tower. I took the couple portraits at sunset. I asked the newlyweds to walk hand in hand around, chatting about their first impressions and relaxing after all the excitement of their Big Day.
After sunset, so many speeches by their loved ones, before cutting the cake and get lost on the dancing floor. They won’t quickly forget their Borgo di Petrognano Wedding. And I hope to see them always as happy and carefree as today!
