Attention to detail is one of the prerogatives of every successful marriage. A thoughtful bride already has clear in her mind how her wedding will be well before it begins. She may not always be able to put up all that she’d like, but when she does the celebration is one of those to be remembered for a long time.
This is the case of this beautiful ceremony at Agriturismo Le Bolli. The couple, of Italian origins but resident in London, has rented the building to spend a few days in the company of their families and friends from northern Italy. The celebration was just a part of three days of partying. The ceremony took place in the shadow of the great oak. The bride and groom promised each other eternal love in the silence broken only by the sound of a harp and by the applause of their happy guests. Refreshments took place by the poolside.
I took the wedding portraits of this lovely couple during a walk along the paved road leading to the villa. Surrounded by olive groves and hills, the bride and groom were relaxed, and I was able to capture intense, intimate images under the warm and enveloping light of the sunset.
The dinner began at dusk in the garden, where the bride – it may seem incredible, but she did everything by herself – had masterfully set up some imperial rustic-style tables. And between a toast and a speech, the party started! Here are some pictures.
