After more than ten years of wedding photography, it’s nice to fall in love with my job again. Thank God, there will always be weddings that I would never stop photographing and couples with whom I would spend the first wedding night, if only they ask me! 🙂
Seriously, this Casa Cornacchi Wedding is still my heart. May it be the lovely venue, the perfect mood, or perhaps this English couple and their guests, that made me feel home, amongst friends. Even today, months later, I still think this wedding in Tuscany with lots of love. I had already photographed this beautiful couple for their engagement session in Tuscany, more than a year ago. It was a pleasure to meet them again and spend with them the most important day of their lives.
Casa Cornacchi is located in the countryside between Siena and Arezzo, surrounded just by olive groves and hills. It is a perfect venue for intimate and rustic weddings in the countryside. The property provides several apartments in charming rustic-chic villas for overnight stays of newlyweds and guests, who can book weekly and spend a few days holiday in Italy in addition to the marriage. Inside the property, there is also a swimming pool and lots of spots for fantastic wedding photos.
The ceremony with a view took place in the garden of Casa Cornacchi. The bride and groom, very excited, exchanged vows and rings under the hot early afternoon sun. Later, while I was taking their wedding portraits, the guests got refreshed from the summer heat on the lawn next to the pool, where the caterer had prepared many stations for a rich Italian-styled aperitif. At sunset, the bride and groom sat down in the dining room (with a view) and, as in the English tradition, there were so many laughs and tears during the speeches of the father of the bride and the best man!
I greeted the newlyweds immediately after their first gelato as husband and wife. I hope to have the opportunity to meet them again soon, perhaps to shoot other (so) important events of their lives.
