A Villa Paterno Wedding is always a great experience to deal with.
Returning to this beautiful residence on the hills of Chianti in the area of Empoli always puts me in a good mood. The reasons are very varied: in addition to the beauty of the colourful gardens and the structure, so belle époque, the Antica Fattoria di Paterno allows me to take exciting photographs.
It is no coincidence that this villa in Tuscany is assaulted for destination weddings from abroad. Couples in love choose it among the hundreds of beautiful villas in Chianti. So, once again, it is worth making a few kilometres to enjoy an unforgettable day. In addition to this, the couple of which I speak today, Chiara and Giacomo, is an exciting one! Must be my lucky day! But let’s try to find out more.
Chiara and Giacomo live in Tuscany. Despite this, they are always ready with a suitcase in the trunk, for exciting and beautiful trips around the world. Besides an innate curiosity – I find it one of the most sophisticated forms of intelligence – they have a great taste in clothes. Both having a beauty somewhat out of the ordinary, they were the protagonists of a wedding simple but refined, elegant and not at all pretentious, staged on a beautiful June day.
Especially her. A real beauty, magnetic, mediterranean.ting glance. I could not be luckier!
Even the makeup was excellent, made by the lovely Francesca Caponi. Chiara was the perfect bride in front of our lenses, with her romantic and timeless dress. Of her design – Chiara is indeed a jewels designer for Bulgari – the bride entrusted the Atelier Aimée in Florence for a unique and beautiful result.
A bodice with sweetheart neckline and narrow waist, a wide but lightweight skirt of delicate tulle. Chiara has opted for bright accessories: a lovely tiara and a jewel belt signed Jenny Packham, the latter matching perfectly with the beautiful Dior light lavender shoes.
Giacomo was a perfect groom by her side. He opted for a classic and very elegant suit, a full dark blue three-piece and clear tie, tone on tone with the shirt. Good taste never goes out of fashion.
The Church of Santa Maria in Petroio, a little gem among the cypresses of Tuscany, was the venue for the religious ceremony. An exciting rite in the small church overflowing with guests and friends who flocked to congratulate the newlyweds. A beautiful Triumph was waiting for them at the exit to accompany them to the villa, along dirt roads on the sunburned hills of Tuscany.
One the many highlights of Villa Paterno is that you can take pictures in a private area, not accessible to guests. Here, a beautiful garden terrace overlooking the pool and a breathtaking view from the top of the hill on which lies the villa, behind us. Climbing plants and blooming roses adorn this environment in itself wonderful and romantic, a dream for any couple who wants to organise a wedding in Tuscany.
The courtyard has hosted dinner at sunset. Friends have celebrated this beautiful, loving couple as the sky was tinged with light blue, later with a darker colour. An after dinner full of fun has put an end to a memorable day.
Beyond the passion I have for photography in general, the wedding of Chiara and Giacomo is one of those that make me love my job. Two exquisite people, simple and refined, a romantic villa and a warm sunny day. What more could I wish for?
