Surrounded by the gorgeous and untouched countryside of Val d’Orcia, there are many charming farmhouses, perfect for great celebration and, in particular, for boho weddings. The relaxed lifestyle, the flower-filled gardens of the villas, the Slow Food and the excellent wine, make these facilities perfect for relaxing holidays as well.
The love for the authentic and real things of life is in everywhere; the kindness of the owners makes them ideal for all kinds of events, including Tuscany weddings and elopements. More and more couples, from all over the world, choose these farmhouses as venues for their celebration. Often this is also an excellent opportunity to have a short holiday with family and closest friends and to begin the honeymoon under the Tuscan sun.
If a boho wedding is what you’re looking for, Pieve a Pava is the best venue you can pick. The property is located in the hills of Asciano and San Quirico d’Orcia, in one of the most famous areas of Tuscany. Far from busy roads and surrounded by the wild countryside, this guesthouse is the perfect place to organise Tuscan weddings and celebrations. The bride and groom chose it for many reasons, including the charming little church of the property. But first things first.
The lovebirds got ready in their rooms, and they met for the first time in the courtyard, where other family members and friends were enjoying some snacks. After the religious ceremony and the traditional family photos, I took advantage of the warm glow of the sunset to capture intimate pictures in the countryside. We got there thanks to a fantastic vintage Fiat Cinquecento. We’ve been lucky to find a beautiful field of sunflowers in bloom!
The newlyweds have joined the rest of their guests by the pool at dusk, where they toasted with champagne and canapes before dinner. Three big imperial rustic tables had been set up for the purpose. The twinkling lights created an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The menu included, among many delicious dishes, local meat grilled at the moment. A truly authentic Tuscan dinner, thanks also to the refreshing local red wine. I greeted the newlyweds during the dancing, still excited and happy after a long day. See you soon guys, Tuscany is looking forward to meeting you again!
