Valle la Badia is an ancient Tuscan villa located near Buti, not far from Pisa and its tower. The venue has all the features needed to accommodate destination weddings. In addition to beautiful apartments and charming villas, the property also offers a swimming pool to cool down on hot summer days, a total-white dining room for the bridal reception, gorgeous Italian gardens and lots of space in the greenery, within the uncontaminated nature of Tuscany.
Valle di Badia is the perfect venue for those looking for a rustic Tuscan style with a contemporary touch. An elegant and refined mix that leaves spouses and guests lost for words. Even today’s lovebirds have been so impressed by the villa’s functionality that they decided to arrange their wedding reception at Valle di Badia. But let’s take a step back.
The groom and the bride, as in the best Italian tradition, got ready separately in their own houses. The religious ceremony took place in the church of San Michele Arcangelo in Serravalle Pistoiese. Even with the tremendous heat of the day, the ceremony was very moving!
Soon after, I portrayed the newlyweds in the most beautiful spots of Valle di Badia. Some photos inside the property, some portraits in the lovely garden and it was already time to let them enjoy the aperitif with their friends and families. Every detail was carefully taken care of. In addition to champagne and canapés, the Italian aperitif also offered local raw fish.
Meanwhile, I shot the table decor, provided by the fabulous Sandra and Sara from Il Bianco e Il Rosa, before family members and guests sat down for a delicious dinner. The colours of the wedding ranged from white to gold, passing through a light straw yellow. The flowers and the candles gave an elegant and warm touch to all the tables.
The renowned local wine made the mood of the party light and sparkling and, after the cake. the bride and the groom danced until late night with their friends. I greeted them while they were still celebrating, cheerful and happy as never before. Cheers!
