I don’t know where to start to tell this incredible elopement in Venice. There are so many details and nuances that I hope I do not forget anything!
The elements are few but fabulous:
- Venice, the most romantic city in Italy
- a Canadian couple ( deeply in love )
- the dream to fulfil a great love with an intimate and extraordinary ceremony
Venice, with all its history and its beauty, keeps on revealing new and hidden corners, fascinating spots that even after years don’t leave me emotionless. A unique place to enjoy all the old-fashioned Italian style.
Rebecca and Ali chose the city of lovers for a simple elopement with an impressive background. The civil ceremony took place in the magnificent halls of the Palazzo Cavalli where the bride and groom shared this moment, albeit virtually, with their loved ones connected via webcam. An uncommonly useful service that the municipality of Venice provides, allowing even the most distant families to participate in such a special event. Of course, this service is especially useful for foreign couples, numerous in Venice, often travelling alone choosing the beautiful city for their elopement.
After the ceremony, we strolled through Venice to take some couple portraits, taking advantage of the kindness of Rebecca and Ali, who have followed me relentlessly. From the most classic shots in Piazza San Marco to the most unusual views of the city, only visible from some rooms of their prestigious hotels.
And this is the result: I happy to show you some of the best shots from the Venetian elopement of Rebecca and Ali.
